The magnetic tape is 50 mm wide and 3 mm thick. Barium ferrite is used as the magnetically active substance in magnetic tape.
Bipolar magnetised tape, as opposed to multipolar magnetised tape, has a lower tensile strength and is used to form tape-to-tape or possibly tape-to-steel connections. When coiled, the result is a ring in which one pole is inside and the other outside the ring. It is used to work with halotron sensors.
The minimum length available for purchase is 1 mb = 1 piece. There are 25 mb in a roll.
Magnetic properties of material grade:
remanence Br min. 0,225 [T],
coercivity HcB min. 150 [kA/m],
coercivity HcJ min. 180 [kA/m],
energy product (BH)max min. 11,0 [kJ/m3]
Max. working temperature is approx. 80°[C]
Weight of 1 running meter of the stripe is: ~570 [g]
Weight of one roll (25 running meters) is: ~14,3 [kg].
