The magnetic tape is 50 mm wide and 3 mm thick. Barium ferrite is used as the magnetically active substance in magnetic tape. Its specific advantage is flexibility and the possibility of cutting, breaking. Multipolar magnetised tape, as opposed to magnetic tape magnetised along the thickness, is characterised by a greater attractive force and is used to create tape-to-steel connections. It is mainly used in advertising.
For tape-to-tape connections, magnetic tape magnetised along the thickness should be used. Such a product is also available in our range, or alternatively, multipolar tape can be remagnetised along the thickness according to your requirements.
Multipolar magnetisation means that on both sides of the tape there are alternately several ‘N’ and ‘S’ magnetic poles arranged longitudinally.
The minimum length available for purchase is 1 mb = 1 piece. There are 25 mb in a roll.
Magnetic properties of material grade:
remanence Br min. 0,225 [T], coercivity HcB min. 150 [kA/m], coercivity HcJ min. 180 [kA/m], energy product (BH)max min. 11,0 [kJ/m3]
Max. working temperature is approx. 80°[C]
Weight of 1 running meter of the stripe is: ~570 [g] Weight of one roll (25 running meters) is: ~14,3 [kg].
