The X11 and X91 electromagnetic chucks are designed for clamping ferromagnetic workpieces during machining. The chucks can be used for ‘dry’ operation as well as in coolants (IP 67 tightness class).
The tables are suitable for use in grinding machines, electrical discharge machines, wire-cutting machines and for auxiliary clamping of ferromagnetic workpieces as well as for light milling work when access to the entire workpiece is required, or when the surface of the workpiece is very delicate and clamping in jaws could damage the surface.
The chuck is powered by DC at max. 110V. It can be controlled by a controller or by direct connection to a grinder or other machine with a suitable connection. The controller allows stepless adjustment of the clamping force proportional to the voltage (in the range 10-110V DC). The magnetic poles are arranged parallel to the brass and steel lamellas.
Types of magnetic pole layout systems available:
The uniform design of the chuck makes it extremely rigid and durable, while the precision of its manufacture guarantees high machining accuracy. It also has additional support bars on two sides of the table to facilitate the immobilisation of workpieces. The condition of the working surface has a very strong influence on the clamping force, so it is possible to regenerate the working surface by grinding.
ATTENTION: The electromagnetic chuck does not include a controller.
