Minimal length of the stripe available for purchase is 1 meter = 1 unit.
In the magnetic stripe as a magnetically active substance barium ferrite was used. The stripe with bipole magnetization, as opposed to the stripe multipole magnetized, is characterized by smaller detachment force. After rolling it makes a ring with one magnetic pole inside, and the other – outside of the ring. It proves to be useful in cooperation with both reed switches and hall effect sensors.
Magnetic properties of material grade: remanence Br min. 0,225 [T], coercivity HcB min. 150 [kA/m], coercivity HcJ min. 180 [kA/m], energy product (BH)max min. 11,0 [kJ/m3]
Physical proprieties: density ~3,8 [g/cm3]
Max. working temperature is approx. 80°[C].
Direction of magnetization: along the height (bipolar) means that one side of the stripe corresponds with the N-pole, while the other – with the S-pole.
Weight of 1 running meter of the stripe is: ~570 [g] , Weight of one roll (25 running meters) is: ~14,3 [kg].
