Reference magnet is used to check the calibration of magnetic field measuring instruments (eg. teslameter with a flat probe). In the reference magnet permanent magnets were used. The housing and magnetic circuit are made of low carbon steel. The device may be of use in physical and chemical laboratories, research institutes and companies working with teslameters with a flat probe.

Reference magnets are checked with teslameter of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). As a natural physical constant to determine the relation frequency/magnetic field, the gyromagnetic ratio coeficient for the hydrogen nucleus 1H in the water γ = 42.5763875 [MHz/T], were used (in accordance with the recommendations of the Central Office of Weights and Measures in Poland).

Caution! Article not available in online sale. Reference magnets with previously agreed parameters are made on request only. If you are interested, please send your inquiries.

We have currently reference magnets of the range of 0,17 [T] - 1,6 [T] (1700 do 16000 [Gs]), measured in the magnetic gap. The gap width is 12 mm and a height is 2-3 mm.
